Our Legal French for Lawyers language courses are aimed at lawyers, law students, barristers, in-house counsel, legal professionals and other interested parties who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the grammar, vocabulary and expressions that are found in French law as well as the language as a whole. Please note that the course is not intended as a course on French law itself, but rather the language around it.
Specialist French Language Teachers
We have an excellent team of French language tutors with a strong background in the law. We work hard to find the right mix of tutors for our organisation, and you can be confident that you will have an experienced and knowledgeable course tutor. Most of them have studied law to degree-level or equivalent and many are distinguished lawyers in their own right. Courses can be taken in London, online or around the world on an intensive basis.
All of the courses accredited by Legal English Language Training are bespoke and we ask you to tell us which areas that you would like to cover before your course commences. If your intention is to take the Diplôme de Français Professionnel Juridique of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, your course can be geared towards this. Here are examples of some areas that your tutor can cover:-
