What is Legal English?
Legal English Language Training UK was founded in London in 2000 by a team of Legal English, Business English and English for Oil and Natural Gas language teachers who were tired of seeing ambitious international lawyers and law students have to sit through substandard teaching of language schools owned by corporations where the poorly paid language teachers knew nothing about language or the law.
Since that time, we have worked with some of the biggest law firms and organisations. Businesses such as Cisco Systems, Google, Abengoa, Baker McKenzie, London Languages and BDB Insurance call on us regularly to run workshops for their legal teams. Law firms such as Jones Day, Hardwicke Chambers, Jausas in Barcelona, Baker & McKenzie around the world, Studio Sarti in Florence and Quality Solicitors in Wales count on us to deliver world-class legal language training. We work with translators, barristers, solicitors, legal secretaries, law students, in-house counsel and top professionals.
Our focus is on tailor-made legal language training courses for motivated individual learners as well as providing in-company language training courses and seminars for law firms, institutions and corporate legal departments.
