Legal English UK's Teaching Formula for massive success

During 20 successful years, the Legal English Language Training School has worked extensively with organisations like Apple, Meta, Google and Santander and law firms such as Ashurst and Baker McKenzie to prepare lawyers and law students for success on the international stage.

As the world leader in communication coaching, cultural training and legal translation, our depth across these linked areas ensures that our clients develop the broad competencies necessary to demonstrate positive, impactful, and critical skills in communication in Legal EnglishBusiness English and the other languages that we teach.

Our Mission

By creating the Legal English UK Language Formula, our mission is to continually challenge our understanding of what effective corporate language trainers offer to students around the world. Our goal is to develop our students' skills to prepare for and support successful language and intercultural teaching.

Combining our own accumulated knowledge as well as insights from well-respected language teachers at corporate and academic levels, the Legal English Language School has developed a client engagement and program design system called the Legal English Teaching Formula (LETF). Based on our in-depth knowledge of adult learning theory and the positive "can do" task-based learning framework of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), LETF provides our world-class language teachers with a system for streamlined development of targeted and customized learning plans using structured practice (planning based on desired goals and outcomes tied to real life needs). LETF guides include tools to map language proficiency and learners' cultural appropriateness, and task-based lesson activities, case studies and simulated exercises that complement trainers' own teaching styles.
